Round 2 was another tough round for
our senior grades, but saw us welcoming back our juniors.

steer the seniors in the right direction.
Whilst the Divie 2s came out fighting and gave Uni a touch up unfortunately the Divie 1s weren't able to replicate this. Good to see an improved effort by the Women who will take a few weeks to gel to their new coaching
leadership, whilst the U18s weren't able to follow up last weeks good start.
Social Birds
This week, some of our Premier League
experienced old favourites will be back for
our first home game, which means positions in the top league will be hard to
keep, and that the Divie 1s and 2s will be
strengthened as a result. See you at the
footy on Sunday — Main game at 4pm.

PMFC Volunteer of the Week
This weeks PMFC Volunteer of the Week is Sam
Vanderburg. Everyone in the senior grades knows
Sam (and Graham, Leah and Dillan) as she (and they)
have been helping out around the club for several
seasons now, running water and messages, helping
the coaches. Thanks Sam, our volunteer of the week.
Players in the Coaching Ranks
Player of the Week
This year has seen a record
amount of senior players stepping up to the plate to help out
with coaching and team managing including Brad Church, Alwyn
Davey, Alex Johnson, Aaron
Lonergan,
Justin
Henschke,
Lateesha Jeffrey, Tyrone Maher,
and Jared Payne.
This weeks Player of the Week is Eddie Osgood.
Eddies first week back from injury saw him help
energise the Divie 2s for a strong win against
University. Eddie played as a livewire forward
and kicked 5 goals, as did Sean Hill playing his
first game since joining the clubs senior coaching
panel.
Last weeks Player of the Week, Kye Haenen has
undergone surgery for his badly broken leg. Remember there is a fundraising tin at the bar, so
throw your loose change in to help Kye out.
Well done all, your leadership is
greatly appreciated by your
peers.

We need your help! Assistance is needed from players and parents to man
the Canteen, BBQ, Bar and help out around the club on Sunday. Come and
see Kirby or put your name down on the game day roster at the canteen on
Tuesday or Thursday so we can have more hands on deck and show how
strong a club we are at the home of the Pies. We’d love to have you on board
