Teams will not be allowed to compete without a guidon. LODGING: To be determined on a case-by-case basis. Lee Ford Camp has lodging for $3.00 per person. There are two bunk houses that can house 12 -15 and a lodging house where sleeping bags on floors can be used. If there is a need for special lodging requirements, please coordinate with us well in advance. There are inexpensive hotels very near the school. Because this is a 4th Brigade Best of the Best Qualifier, all instructors must be in uniform. If the instructor is not in proper uniform the day of competition the raider team will not be allowed to compete. COORDINATING INSTRUCTIONS: a. Registration package and sequence of events are attached. Registration package and entry fee (nonrefundable) of $70 is due by 1 February 2015. b. All events will be conducted IAW the current 4th Brigade, Raider MOI, the alternate event will be a Logistic Relay. For those attending, I will send out a schematic of the course as the date nears. The event will consist of a low crawl, carrying a flat bottom boat, rowing a short distance, and carrying a simulated ammo box. c. Plans for the Raider Competition are based on 20 teams. Teams will be chosen on a first come, first serve basis. All schools are guaranteed a team in the competition up to 20 teams. If there are more than 20 Alpha teams, the priority will go to the first 20 schools who submit their ENTRY fee. If there are not 20 Alpha teams the first Bravo teams to submit their ENTRY fee will be admitted to fill the spots to make a field of 20. Register early to be guaranteed a spot in the meet. d. Special note: THIS IS THE LAST QUALIFIER FOR THE 4TH BDE BEST OF THE BEST CHAMPIONSHIP OF THE YEAR. e. Safety: Although we want our cadets to have an adventuresome experience, we will not risk lives, limbs, health, or safety. We will do a thorough risk assessment before 3 March 2013 and update it as the day progresses or as conditions change. We will have medical coverage on hand.
