Introduction The Faculty It is with great pleasure that we invite you to participate in this very popular international two-day seminar on anaesthesia for major surgery. This year’s topics will cover various aspects of anaesthesia management of major surgical patients, including pre-operative assessment, intra-operative monitoring, evidence based practice of fluid and haemorrhage management and problem based solutions. Lectures will be delivered by well known international and national speakers and there will be a unique opportunity for trainees to submit abstracts for the case presentation competition. The conference is for all practicing anaesthetists and intensivists involved in the management of major surgery patients.
