promoting the lives of the vulnerable community. Pact in Myanmar is currently working in the Delta
Zone, Dry Zone and Shan Zone on various projects including Micro Credit, Primary Health Care,
HIV/AIDS Education Programs and Livelihoods Integrated Program. Pact in Myanmar operates its
various projects in 51 townships.
Pact in Myanmar is currently seeking a motivated, experienced and dedicated candidate for the

Position Summary:
Shae Thot is beginning urban activities in Yin Mar Bin township in the areas of Maternal Child Health,
Livelihoods and WASH. Under the technical guidance and supervision of Township Manager, Team
Leader is responsible for day to day implementation of activities and overall supervision of Community
Facilitators and reporting of implemented project in the assigned Township; as well as to follow the
existing procedures and policies of Pact Myanmar for a proper administration of the project.

1. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Programmatic Responsibilities:




Draw monthly work plan for the team members which reflect and contribute to
achieving project targets, and finalize it with Township Manager;
Work together with the Community Facilitators to achieve targets;
Undertake program related trainings from Training Officer/Project Manager and
disseminate among Community Facilitators, and conduct community-level
trainings/workshops as per set workshop guideline;
Assist Project Manager and/or his/her designee in calculation of the financial
requirement for workshops in assigned township;

Organize trained volunteers meetings, and network within communities as well as
with the local health services for better integration with existing MCH, livelihoods
and WASH sectors as necessary;
Monitoring field visits of Community Facilitators and the work of trained
volunteers/Change Agents, Change Agents Committee, and support as necessary;
Lead office-based trainings together with Township Manager;
Collect data relating to program input, output and outcomes, as well as activity
records and reports, and submit to Township Monitor in a timely manner;
Manage and supervise the team for a proper implementation of project activities at
village level;
Provide necessary support and guidance for capacity building of Community
Facilitators under his/her supervision;
Practice a regular reporting mechanism for program outputs and provide follow-ups
when necessary;
Monitor the progress of Community Facilitators within the assigned team;
Practice accountability is best achieved to all stakeholders;
Ascertain that monthly work plan and set project targets are achieved accordingly;
Undertake any other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Expected Results
 Effective project intervention activities are delivered timely to community.
 Team work plan is developed in line with Township Work plan and targets are achieved
to get Program objectives in qualitatively and quantitatively.
 Community Facilitators in assigned team receive effective leadership and support to run
quality program.
 A well-organized and result-oriented team, functioning effectively and efficiently.
 Timely submission program reports and maintenance of systematic filing system of
assigned team.
Financial Responsibilities

Maintain a transparent and sound cash management system for the operation and
within the team, as per current financial procedures of Pact and the program;

All expenses made by the Team Leader has to be approved by concerned Township
Manager.

Minimum Requirements:
 Minimum three years’ experience with development or humanitarian community,preferably
with an international NGO;
 Work experience in rural activities is desirable.
 Excellent training skills when working with CBOs, with excellent track record of managing
workshop activities at village level;
 Graduate or equivalent qualification;
 Excellent writing and communication skills including simple report writing in Burmese.
 Fluency in English is an asset;
 Able to work flexible hours as needed, and without constant or close supervision;
 Excellent time management skills;
 Result oriented and target driven;
 Able to work with team, lead the team to be more pro-active and motivated, and assist
team members for overcoming any foreseen or unforeseen problems;
 Must be able to comply with management’s decisions for possible transfer to work in other
townships for the best interest of program and its management.
