RE:
AMBU Brand Perfit Cervical Immobilization Devices
The AMBU Perfit brand universal adjustable style cervical immobilization device (CID)
has been found, after evaluation of different universal adjustable style CIDs from
various manufacturers by EMS field clinicians, to currently be the best solution for
stabilization of known or suspected spinal injuries in adults and for stabilization of the
neck of an intubated adult patient to prevent accidental extubation. The universal
adjustable style c-collar also results in cost and inventory savings.
The AMBU Perfit Mini-Ace brand adjustable style c-collar or the AMBU Perfit brand ccollar, individual sizes Pediatric and Infant, will be utilized as the best solution for
stabilization of known or suspected spinal injuries in pediatrics and for stabilization of
the neck of an intubated pediatric patient to prevent accidental extubation.
