We ask parents please do not stop on the bus stop below the pedestrian crossing in the mornings, this is needed for buses. This has been a problem, and we will be having enforcement people monitor this and give offence notices were needed. 2. Please do not enter the bus bay, or sit at the entrance to the bus bay, until after 3.20pm. Buses are sometimes late arriving and cannot enter the bus bay. We nearly had one of our students run over in the bus bay at the end of last term when a car drove through the bus bay as a child crossed to board a bus in the outside lane. There is good signage advising that cars should not enter the bus bay between 2.30pm and 3.20pm. A wonderful result. Harrison Payne R5, whose team won the U13B Nationals this weekend (11th Oct) with Waitakere West. Even though Harrison was unable to play (an injury sustained from AIMs), he was integral to the team's lead up and 1st seeding from the National Qualifying tournament (where he top scored with 29). A wonderful result, particularly as this will be the last U13 Nationals as Basketball NZ will no longer be running this tournament. Josh Kooiman R22 was in the Harbour team that came 2nd and got Silver. Tamara Otene R36 who gained medals (two 1st and a 2nd) in her events at the U15 Badminton Nationals. Tamara is the under 15s National badminton singles champ for 2014. Also national mixed champ with her mixed partner Oscar Guo from Westlake Boys High School.
