November and December 2014 Incorporated

November and December
2014
It is coming and will be here before you know it.. The 275th Anniversary celebration of Nazareth
Borough! The steering committee
has been working very hard for
several months to bring you an
array of fun events to participate
in! Amongst them include a special trolley tour, parade and birthday party, Ecumenical service and
Nazareth night at the Iron Pigs.
Please like the event page on Facebook and stay tuned to our
chamber newsletter for additional
details. We are also pleased to
announce that we are coordinating the fundraising efforts for
the Nazareth Borough Pool Bricks.
Now is your chance to have your
name on a piece of Nazareth history! They will also make a great
gift for the upcoming holidays and
they are the perfect way to get
your corporate message of support for the project, not to mention a nice remembrance for
someone who has passed. See
page 2 for more info.
This summer we celebrated the
best Martin on Main ever! Larger
crowds and vendors running out
of food was what we noticed! We
look forward to the 8th annual
coming on Saturday, August 1st,
2015. Also coming in 2015 will be
the Naz Jazz II festival on April
25th at Nazareth Borough Park.
We had so much rain for the first
event, but that did not stop the
die hard jazz fans from coming
out to be treated to fabulous music! There is another successful
business expo on the books with
the LVB Expo we participated in.
There was certainly no shortage
of business contacts to network
with and we look forward to continuing to help grow this great
event! A special thank you to Cindy Fairbanks of ESSROC who did a
tremendous job as chairperson in
2013 & 2014! We welcome Lance
Colondo of National Penn Bank as
our chair in 2015! The Nazareth
tree lighting will take place on
Dec. 4th at 7pm. Special thanks
to Kitchen Magic for sponsoring
the toys! The Bath Borough tree
lighting will take place on Nov.30
at 6pm, Monocacy Creek Park.
Best wishes from The Nazareth
Bath Area Chamber of Commerce
to you and yours. We hope that
you find time to relax & enjoy!

Habitat for Humanity of the Lehigh Valley provides safe and affordable housing in
the Lehigh Valley for deserving hardworking families. Habitat Lehigh Valley ReStore generates
funds through the resale of donated items. We accept new & recycled building materials, gently used furniture and appliances to sell to the general public.
Everything sold in the store is donated by businesses & individuals. Some of the many benefits
to doing this are:
An increase in the number of families Habitat can serve
Provide quality items at discounted prices to the public (who often might otherwise not be
able to afford them)
Some donors are able to take a tax deduction as a charitable contribution
Prevent usable items from being sent to landfills
The store is open Wednesday - Saturday 10:00am - 6:00pm. Our Donation Center is open for
drop-off of items Tuesday - Saturday, 10:00am – 4:00pm. We also offer free donation pickup
service. Habitat LV ReStore is located at 1053 Grape St, in Whitehall.
