SeaPort Airlines Announces Service to
Greenville, MS and Muscle Shoals, AL
Service begins January 12, 2015 with introductory fares of $39
PORTLAND, ORE. (November 5, 2014) – SeaPort Airlines today announced that it will begin air service from Greenville,
Mississippi (Mid-Delta Regional Airport) and Muscle Shoals, Alabama (Northwest Alabama Regional Airport) on January 12,
2015. The carrier’s announcement follows the award of Essential Air Service at both cities by the US Department of
Transportation.
At Greenville, SeaPort will offer 18 roundtrips per week to Memphis International Airport. This will provide customers
opportunities to connect with six airlines that offer an average of 85 daily departures to 29 nonstop destinations. At Muscle
Shoals, the carrier will offer 24 weekly departures to Nashville International Airport. At Nashville, customers will have connecting
opportunities with an average of 176 daily departures to 44 nonstop destinations on seven airlines. Schedules for both
communities are shown below.

To launch the new service, SeaPort Airlines is offering a “Get Onboard” fare of $39 from Greenville to Memphis and Muscle
Shoals to Nashville. The fare will be available on every seat and every flight through February 28, 2015. Tickets must be
purchased by January 15, 2015 and quoted fares include all taxes and fees. Other rules and restrictions apply.
“We are honored that the communities of Greenville and Muscle Shoals selected SeaPort Airlines as their EAS provider, and
believe they will make wonderful additions to our Mid-South network,” said Rob McKinney, President of SeaPort Airlines. “The
entire team looks forward to rebuilding traffic at both airports and developing a strong partnership with each community.”
The Mayor of Greenville, John Cox, said: “After reviewing proposals from several airlines, our City Council voted unanimously
to recommend SeaPort Airlines to the US DOT as our replacement carrier for commercial air service. We are excited that
SeaPort has been officially selected to provide service to Memphis International Airport and believe they will provide the
citizens of Greenville and the Mid Delta with much needed convenient, reliable and affordable flights originating from the
Greenville Mid Delta Airport. The service will also provide a positive contribution to economic development and tourism in our
region.”
The sentiment was echoed by Councilwoman Carolyn Weathers, who stated: “I think it is wonderful the Greenville Mid-Delta
Airport has partnered with SeaPort Airlines. I'm excited about the future for the people of the Delta with the new ability to
connect to the world through Memphis.”
Councilman Errick Simmons of Greenville added, “I am overjoyed by SeaPort's flight service announcement. Our businesses
and local residents will now have the opportunity to ‘fly Greenville’ again and I encourage everybody to do so.”
Barry Griffith, Director of Northwest Alabama Regional, stated: “We look forward to this new opportunity with SeaPort Airlines
and are delighted about our new Nashville connection.”

travel agent or online travel agencies, such as Travelocity, Expedia, and Hipmunk.
SeaPort will host an open house and ribbon-cutting event at each airport when service begins. Details will be announced at a
later date.
