General Info
The 2014 WCEA Annual Conference will be held at the Kalahari Resort, 1305 Kalahari Drive, Wisconsin
Dells, WI 53965.
The conference will kick off with registration and breakfast from 9am-10am on Tuesday, Nov 4 and wrap
up at 12pm on Wednesday, Nov 5.
A more detailed schedule of events will be sent to you via email, closer to the date of the conference.
• Breakout Sessions & Round Table Sessions will take place both Tuesday and Wednesday
• Keynote Speaker will take place at 10am on Tuesday
• There will be a social hour/reception on Tuesday evening from 5:30-7:00pm,
followed by optional, planned social activities
The WCEA Board is hoping to create a “2013-14 Recap” to share a sample of what’s happening in Community Education around the state. We would appreciate your help in sending us 3-4 photos from your program this past year (send to lauren.kaminski@rfsd.k12.wi.us).

Don’t Forget to VOTE!
This year’s WCEA conference happens to coincide with the Fall 2014 WI General Election on Tuesday, November 4. Don’t forget to vote absentee OR vote early by following these instructions:
Request an Absentee Ballot
To request an absentee ballot, you will need to submit an Absentee Ballot Application (http://goo.gl/x2sEu9) (GAB-121).
Complete this form, print it and submit it via fax, email, or USPS to your municipal clerk. Your application must be received by the clerk no later than 5pm on Thursday, October 30 in order for an absentee ballot to be sent to you. Find
your municipal clerk info by visiting https://myvote.wi.gov/
Returning Your Ballot
You are encouraged to return your absentee ballot using the postage-paid envelope you were provided with your ballot.
Your completed absentee ballot must be postmarked no later than Election Day (November 4, 2014) and received by
the municipal clerk no later than 4 pm on the Friday after the election.
Early Voting
You may also vote absentee at your local municipal clerk's office. In-person absentee voting (also known as early voting)
runs for two weeks before an election, ending at 5 p.m. on the Friday before the election. Please contact your municipal
clerk for information about the location and hours for in-person absentee voting.
