JOB DESCRIPTION: REPORTING TO: SALARY: LOCATION: ASSISTANT MANAGER RETAIL MANAGER COMPETITIVE MAYFAIR, LONDON INTRODUCTION: Orlebar Brown launched in 2007 as a more tailored approach to swim shorts. We have moved from the pool, off the beach and into the resort by expanding our range into shirts, jackets, trousers and accessories. We source, design and manufacture our own range which is then distributed on our own UK and US websites, as well as being sold wholesale to over 220 stockists around the world. We are opening new stores and we are looking for someone who is looking to drive the company and their career forward. This role has the potential to evolve and is a real opportunity for someone who is enthusiastic about growing with the company. RESPONSIBILITIES: As a Store Assistant Manager, you will be an ambassador for Orlebar Brown. You will report directly to the Store Manager and Retail Manager, and are responsible for: •
Driving forward sales through a range of initiatives. •
Assisting Manager in day-­‐to-­‐day operations •
Building a client base •
Liaising with head office •
Store banking, cashing up, key holder •
Ensuring all your staff maintain Orlebar Brown standards •
Maintaining appropriate stock levels in your shop and ensuring the highest standards of housekeeping, cleanliness and merchandising are upheld •
Maintaining security of the shop premises, stock and all shop monies •

KEY SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES You have: • Excellent Communication Skills – both verbal and written. Customer service is a vital part of this job. • Experience in High End retail. • The ability to create and drive sales/footfall during quieter periods. • Experience in building client bases and client books. • Computer skills. • Natural planning skills. • A real attention to detail. You are: • A natural problem solver, who thinks logically and is not afraid of a challenge. • Someone who enjoys taking ownership of a project and seeing it develop. • A practical multi-­‐tasker, who can focus on the detail whilst never loosing sight of the bigger picture. • A self-­‐starter that enjoys being part of a team, but is also happy to work by themselves. • Enthusiastic and enjoy your work.
