There will be a meeting for all high school boys planning to play basketball this year in Coach Heisinger's classroom at 3:50 on Tuesday. Open Gym will follow the meeting, in Montrose. The McCook Central Student Council will be taking orders for the delicious, world famous popcorn balls from November 12 – 19, cost is $3.00 each. The student council is raising funds for the McCook County CASA organization. CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) volunteers are appointed by judges to watch over and advocate for abused and neglected children, to make sure they don’t get lost in the overburdened legal and social service system or suffer in inappropriate group or foster homes. All money raised will go directly to CASA. Pre-ordering is required and can be done by contacting Tracy Chase at Tracy.Chase@k12.sd.us, phone 425-2264 or Krista Mentele at KM3135@k12.sd.us.
