To the health of our friends and their dogs, and the spirit of the show experience. The Worcester County Kennel Club, Inc. Welcome Exhibitors! We are back for another wondful year in downtown Worcester, The Heart of New England The Worcester County Kennel Club, Inc. (WCKC) was founded in the late 1800's. In 1927, the by-laws were adopted and the Worcester County Kennel Club, Inc. became a MEMBER CLUB of the American Kennel Club. WCKC is an organization of dog owners and fanciers interested in the promotion and protection of purebred dogs. Our membership is comprised of Worcester County residents who exhibit in conformation shows, field trials, hunting tests, therapy work, obedience trials, performance events, are licensed AKC judges and those who just enjoy their pets. Many members' pets help to brighten someone's day when they visit schools, nursing homes, and hospitals. This is highly encouraged. WCKC members are always ready and willing to give information and guidance to new owners. The Worcester County Kennel Club, Inc. has supported many different Animal Health & Welfare organizations and continues to do so on a regular basis with yearly donations. The WCKC is a WORKING MEMBERSHIP CLUB, without active members, our meetings and events could not take place. Therefore, our members are considered WORKING MEMBERS and are required to commit themselves to our events and club related activities and projects. Lastly, the original essence and the objectives of the WCKC remains the same today as it was in the hearts of the Club Founders in the late 1800's. We honor the PAST..we work in the present..we look forward and plan for the FUTURE.
