Thirty-Third Sunday Ordinary Time November 16, 2014 Page Three A MESSAGE FROM THE PASTOR’S DESK Dear Parishioners: Thank you very much for all your warm welcome and good wishes. I look forward to getting to know each one of you, and to coming to love and serve you in our St Valentine’s family. Please forgive me if I cannot remember all your names. My brain capacity for facial recognition is weak (some might call it stupidity). I am very impressed by the number of volunteers who help out in various ways. I thank you and encourage you in your various ministries. The Gospel this week tells us of the talents that God has entrusted to each one of us. As we cooperate with God and use the gifts that He has given us, his Holy Spirit magnifies, expands in us and our capacity for loving, forgiving and caring increases. I look forward to growing with you in the Love of God. Yours in Christ, Fr Basil CHURCH ENVELOPES If you are using checks for your donation, please do not combine amounts on your check.
