0 – 6 Years / Young Children
Beginning with Baby(Baby 0-12months) - An OEYC Drop-in for infants and their parents/caregivers. Toys and activities designed for infants. Parenting support, resources and more.
Well Baby Clinic (0 – 4 yr) – Come in and see a public health nurse for assessment of growth and development, help with breastfeeding, infant feeding, safety, and answering questions.
Ask a Nurse (parents of 0-3yr)(drop in)- Talk to nurse about Triple P Parenting, developmental screening, Nurtistep, and other services the Middlesex London Health Unit provides.
Childreach Drop-In Playgroup (0-6yr) – Early years staff will provide a variety of age appropriate activities for families to use to play, learn and grow together.
Shared Beginnings (0 – 6 yr) – Aliteracy based playgroup that demonstrates the important roles the parents play in their child literacy development. Free play, crafts, sensory play and circle time.
Children’s Gymnastics (4-6yr) – Children can learn basic Gymnastics while having fun. Each class is approximately 30 minutes.
Stir it up with Literacy (3-6yr) –Fun, educational. Inspires simple cooking activities for families share. Develop skills such as pre math, pre reading, healthy living, and much more.
French ABC (0-6yrs) – Literacy Program for families who want to be introduced to the French language. Discover how to integrate French literacy into everyday life.
Mini Read around the Block (1-10yr)-Read around the block literacy activities, games and a craft. Each week there will be a draw for a craft-based activity and/or a book.




Real Voice (grades 7 & 8) – Community engagement leadership program using film-making and other forms of digital media.
Junior Youth Empowerment Program (11-14yr) – Empowering youth by helping them develop their morals, creativity, expression, literacy, and ability to contribute to community.
Youth Impact – Centre Stage (13-20yr)- A performing arts based program. Opportunity to learn, teach, practice and collaborate with peers using dance, singing, drama, rap, instruments
Kids Cooking (grades 5&6 and 7&8) – Introductory cooking program. Create recipe books, prepare and cook food, eat and clean up together.
Craigwood Talk-In Clinic (12-18yr) – Offers counseling sessions for youth in the area.
Community School Program (6-12yr)- Fun and creative activities offered at lunch (Minute to win it) and afterschool (Grossology/Fashion and Design). Students of Northbrae are picked
up in the school and walked to program. Fee required

MAPP Mutual Aid Parenting Program– For women and children of all ages - social and emotional supports for mothers in the community.
Kipps Lane and Community Meetings & Socials (Adults) – Allows neighbourhood participation in supporting community events and keeping the neighbours informed.
Growing Together(moms 21 and under with babies)-6 week food skills program for young moms which will include food skills like preparing, budgeting, label reading, etc. Program
incentives and veggie vouchers provided.

Bhutanese Diabetes Self Management Group – Diabetes education to reduce complications of diabetes for the Bhutanese community.
Immigration Community, capacity and Engagement-4 Workshops on different topics related to justice and protection issues.
Ethiopian Women’s Group – Children’s Language Literacy (Adults and children over 5yr)– Teaching Ethiopian language, maths, history.
Bhutanuese Heritage Class- Heritage language class, workshops, dance, music, drama and games
Let’s Talk Science- Fun for the whole family. Creating fun and unusual experiments for the young and the young at heart. A new adventure every week.
Family Health Clinic (Nurse Practitioner) – Primary health care for young families & high school students. No health card required.
Family Support Program Consultations– By appointment with Community Living London.Consultations for families with children under 18 with a diagnosis of an intellectual disability.
DocsKids (0-18yrs)- Provides preventative oral health care education to families with little or no insurance. Care package of toothbrush, toothpaste, floss and tips for parents included.
