Clinical responsibilities would include epilepsy clinics, EEG interpretation, supervision of EEG and video long-term monitoring and rotations on the inpatient neurology and consultation services. The Division, in collaboration with Neurosurgery is developing plans for epilepsy surgery. The EEG department is very well equipped to support this new activity. Research expertise in genetic aspects of epilepsy would be an asset, as would an ability to interpret sleep laboratory studies. A close interdisciplinary relationship with the Division of Respirology and Sleep Medicine is desirable.
