Midnight Run Midnight Run is an organization dedicated to serving the homeless in New York City. ‘Runs’ provide blankets, clothing, toiletries and food to the homeless. St. Philip Youth Group has been trained and has been making runs for ten years. These runs have been phenomenal experiences for us, and we are happy to announce that our next run will be Friday, January 9, 2015. Hosting a run takes a great deal of organization and hard work. We see anywhere from 80-100 clients on the streets, and it is difficult to provide as much as is needed. If you are cleaning out your closets, please think about helping us with donations. Items, most needed will be listed in next weekend’s bulletin. A Letter from Jessica Vanam Thank you so much for your support in my past two fundraising projects. I am going on a service trip again in February 2015, and this will be my last trip as a senior. Like the other two trips through my school, Lauralton Hall, an organization called School the World. We will be going back to Guatemala to build schools in the rural highlands. Hopefully, with your help, we can build another school in February. My fund-raising page is www.class.org/vanam. A minimum donation of $10 goes a long way. More information on School the World can be found at www.schooltheworld.org. I will be speaking at next weekend at all Masses.
