Wiring and assembly of the GMR-100 shall be carried out by professional
electricians only.
It is mandatory to follow the connection instructions, if not, the
measurement may be wrong or the equipment may be damaged. Do not
connect the neutral or phase cables to the OUT terminal.
Do install upstream the GMR-100 a RCD and a MCB according the
technical features. First step, connect all the GMR-100's terminals and
then connect the MCB and the RCD.
A non-normal input voltage, a voltage between neutral and PE cable or a
too high harmonic distorsion may affect to the measurement.
Electrical standards and rules must be taken into consideration, as well as
any applicable national and local regulations or laws.
Before proceeding with the installation, check the external status of the
unit making sure it has not suffered any transportation damages.
A fuse or a circuit breaker is needed to proctect GMR-100. In case that the
main circuit breaker (F1 in the connection diagram) had a too high
nominal current, an additional fuse or circuit breaker F2 will be needed. It
is explained in the connection diagram.
The system shall under no circumstance be installed if there is any
evidence of damage or flaws. The usage of GMR-100 is limited to the
scope and conditions described in the pages of this installation guide. The
protector and the loads connected to it may result into damage if the
indicated values are exceeded.
Inappropriate manipulation or modifications of any kind will invalidate the
guarantee under which this electrical apparatus is delivered.

OBO BETTERMANN,
Connection to an earthing system IS ESSENTIAL for a proper operation
of the tester.
A fuse or a circuit breaker is needed to proctect the tester
Pay special attention to the NEUTRAL connection.
The protector SHOULD NOT ever installed outdoor.
The GMR-100 is pre-configured supplied and it is ready to be installed.
Through the button, it is posible to modify the settings:
1.1
1.2
1.Deactivate the alarms (this option cancells the visual signals and the output signal).
1.1 Deactivate the alarm by end-of-life of the GMR-100 because surge overvoltage.
1.2 Deactivate the alarm by earthing value (PE) to high.
2
2.Modify the PE-alarm-value.
Its value is 50 ohms by default. If the value shown in the display is higher than the PE-alarm-value,
the auxiliary output is activated (If 1.2 is activated).
This values can be modified by the user ohm by ohm, up to 100 ohms.
3
3.Measured value adjustment.
The user is able to adjust the value shown to the real measurement of earthing.
If that option is activated, the ohm simbol will flicker.
