YOU CAN UNDERSTAND THE BIBLE
If you want a better understanding of our faith, and a
deeper relationship with God, then you should join us for
The Bible Timeline Study.
The Bible Timeline is a Catholic Bible study that can help
anyone to make sense of the bible and experience the lifechanging power of God’s Word. The study takes you on a
journey through the entire Bible and brings you deep into

the amazing story woven throughout all of Scripture. The
Bible Timeline has helped hundreds of thousands of people
to have a better understand the bible and a deeper relationship with Christ, and it will help you too.
The study will include a series of twenty-four videos presented by Jeff Cavins. (Perfect attendance is not necessary.) Each video will be preceded by a lively group discussion.
St. Ambrose will continue The Bible Timeline each Thursday, at 9:00AM and 6:45PM in the Pastoral Center.

A Blessed Christmas and New Year
**Parish Tip...Just a reminder from your parish nurse—I
am here almost every Tuesday from 8-11AM. If you have
high blood pressure, your doctor likes to see a record of
manual blood pressures outside of the office setting.
Come see me you’d be surprised at the resources I can
help you with.
Pre-Jordan/Baptism

Our next Infant Baptismal Preparation Class will be
on Monday, Jan. 5th at 7:00 PM in the Pastoral
Center. The sessions will last approximately one
hour. Please call the Parish Office 466-2921 to register.

but if it has been more than three years you will
need to register.
Fr. Steve encourages registration and attendance of
the class early on in the pregnancy because the
classes will be held quarterly.

Parishioners may pick up their 2015 Parish Calendar in

SCHOOL NEWS
**The Riverbender has secured a bus and driver for St.
Ambrose School. All 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students
are eligible to attend. There are numerous activities such
as art classes, German classes, computers and many more
available. Call the school office for more information.
**This is a quick reminder to ALL parents. All of the
fundraisers that St. Ambrose School sponsors are used to
help defray tuition costs. The total cost to educate a child
at St. Ambrose School is about $5,100.00 per child. So,
fundraisers are held throughout the year to keep tuition
costs down. Our main 2 fundraisers are the Applefest, and
the auction in January. Please VOLUNTEER and PLAN
to attend the auction on January 31st.
**You can purchase Scrip from 7:30-3:30pm MondayFriday in the main office at school. We will work to make
your Scrip purchasing as easy as possible. Scrip is also
available after most masses and at the School Office during normal business hours. Thank you to everyone who
has purchased Scrip or used the Schnucks e-script card.
**Please continue to collect box tops and soup labels.
**Thank you to Jennifer Weiner and her talented crew for
hosting Santa’s Secret Shop. The students loved it, and
we appreciate your time and service.

**Watch your email for details of December activities.
**Message for all 8-12 grade parents. You encourage
your child to be successful at academics, sports, and other
activities. Why not encourage them to be successful in
their faith. Success in their faith is life long! So encourage
your child to come to Youth Group and enjoy faith, fun,
and fellowship with other teens. Think of the impact we
can have for Christ in the lives of your child and their
friends if we make the effort.
