Newsletter December 2014 Dear Paddlers, This will be our last Newsletter for 2014. Hopefully it finds you all well and in particular getting out there and enjoying your kayaks and/or SUP’s. Please keep an eye on www.kayakgroup.com.au for specific opening hours for each store over Christmas. January 2015 Price Increase Many of our products are imported and paid for in US Dollars. Even our Australian made products are made largely from imported materials and components and so are also affected by exchange rate fluctuations. Over the past four months we have seen the Australian Dollar fall from just under 95c (USD) to just over 82c (USD). This represents a cost rise of around 14% on all imports. To date we have managed to wear most of this but if the exchange rate remains at around 82c (USD) or lower then we will have no choice but to increase our prices in January 2015. Fortunately for us everyone else is in the same boat so we will still guarantee you absolute best prices and fantastic value for money.
