The Division of Pediatric Orthopaedic Surgery
offers a broad range of advanced pediatric
orthopaedic and spinal procedures, and brings
the knowledge and experience of the leading
centers for orthopaedics, spine, and pediatric
surgery here for the convenience of the Staten
Island community.
Our philosophy recognizes that patients are
individuals and, as such, deserve individualized
care. Our treatment approach is conservative,
with emphasis on rehab and preventive modalities
intended to avoid surgery if a non-invasive
modality is available.
When a case dictates that a conservative modality
is not appropriate, we offer a range of surgical
interventions, tailored for the patient. Always, we
strive to include the patient or his/her caregivers
in the decision-making process.
Our mission is to provide best-in-class care,
individualized for you.
