Objectives: Participant should be able to 1.) list the different types of pediatric thyroid disorders and
thyroid cancers. 2.) differentiate patients best treated with medical vs. surgical intervention.
Objective: Participant should be able to 1.) determine the appropriate use of inhaled nasal steroids
for treatment of adenoid hypertrophy. 2.) list the current clinical guidelines for performance of
adenotonsillectomy in children.
Objective: Participant should be able to list indications of surgical intervention in the management of
laryngomalacia.
Objectives: Participant should be able to 1.) list the most common airway disorders in children and
identify the most effective medical and surgical treatments. 2.) effectively complete a work-up of
children’s airway.

pediatric sinusitis and the supporting evidence.
