Dr. George Friedman
George Friedman is the Chairman of Stratfor, a company he
founded in 1996 that is now a leader in the field of global
intelligence. Friedman guides Stratfor's strategic vision and
oversees the development and training of the company's
intelligence unit. Dr. Friedman is the author of The New York Times
best-seller
The Next Decade, which forecasts the major events and
challenges that
will test America and its presidents over the
course
of the next decade. His other books on warfare and
intelligence include America's Secret War, The Future of War and
The Intelligence Edge. Dr. Friedman has briefed the Australian
Command and Staff College, Eglin Air Force Research Laboratory,
U.S. Marine Corps Command and Staff College and many other military and government
organizations. Dr. Friedman is frequently invited to speak internationally, including in Turkey,
Germany, Poland, Azerbaijan, Australia and New Zealand. He received his Bachelor's degree from
the City College of the City University of New York and holds a Ph.D. in Government from Cornell
University.
Heather Zichal
Heather Zichal is the former deputy assistant to President Obama
for energy and climate change. She was the first person to hold
this title and was exposed to every major decision on energy and
climate issues during the first five years of the Obama
Administration. In this role, Zichal was a strong and steady voice
for policies that reduce America’s dependence on foreign oil,
protect public health and our environment, and address global
climate change. Zichal was instrumental in developing President
Obama’s second-term climate agenda, which was unveiled in a
one-hour speech hailed by historians as the most significant
address ever given by a president on an environmental issue.
She was also the architect of the EPA’s first ever greenhouse gas
controls for power plants and served as one of the public faces of
the administration’s approach of addressing climate change via federal regulatory action.

Billy Tauzin
Billy Tauzin, a former U.S. Congressman (R-LA) and the former president
and CEO of PhRMA, is an experienced political and legislative strategist.
He is the only member of Congress to have held leadership positions in
both political parties, including key committee chairmanships. Tauzin
served as chairman of the Energy and Commerce Committee and left his

dealing with a battle against cancer, Tauzin left his seat in Congress to
start work at PhRMA, a pharmaceutical lobby group. As head of PhRMA,
Tauzin was a key player in 2009 health care reform negotiations that
produced pharmaceutical industry support for the White House’s
legislation. Tauzin resigned this post in 2010 and is now on the board of
directors at Louisiana Healthcare Group. He has recently founded Tauzin
Consulting, LLC which will specialize in health care, IT, finance, telecommunications, energy,
