DIVORCED /SEPARATED CATHOLIC SUPPORT GROUP
St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church welcomes men and women who have suffered from divorce or separation to our
program: The Catholic’s DIVORCE SURVIVAL Guide.
On January 15*, our program begins Part 3 of the DVD series: Finding Perfect Passion. After beginning to heal,
someone who has been divorced may be anxious to find new love, but such a quest may create a false god from
human relationships that will ultimately fail. These final four sessions introduce the powerful principles found in Pope
John Paul II’s Theology of the Body, discussion the spousal analogy of Christ as the Bridegroom, the personal
encounter with Christ in the Sacraments, and the intimate union with Jesus found only in the Eucharist.
Please join us on Thursday, January 15th for the session "Finding Perfect Power". This session offers practical advice
on when or when not to go to court, and how to be wisely generous in sharing custody and visitation with the other
parent.
The program is from 7:00-9:00 pm doors open at 6:45 pm Join us in the East Meeting Room, located off of the
Gathering Space in the Church. For more information visit our web page: www.saintv.org and select the Community
Life/Support link or call the St. Vincent de Paul church office at 260-489-3537 ext. 208. We look forward to seeing
you!
(This is the only Support Group session for the month of January because of the New Year holiday the first week of the month.)

St. Vincent blessed us with. The joy on the smiling faces of

Attendance at two Baptismal
Preparation Sessions is required before
your child is baptized — Session I and
Session II. You may attend Session II

date for the baptism once the baby is born. Godparents,
too, are welcome. At least one parent and one
godparent must be practicing Catholics. Also, parents
must be registered in the Parish. Please call the church
office to sign up for your sessions.
