As part of our ongoing commitment to provide quality, integrated wellness
programs, the University of Minnesota’s Center for Spirituality & Healing is
pleased to offer the highly successful Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction
(MBSR) program.
Developed by practitioner and author Jon Kabat-Zinn, MBSR will teach you
how to intentionally cope with pain, illness, and the stress of modern life.
Participants will learn mindfulness meditation skills and build upon their
own personal strengths to offset the adverse effects of stress by responding
more effectively to challenges such as:
• chronic pain
• headaches
• heart disease
• job and school stress
• diabetes • depression
• cancer • fibromyalgia
• family • hiv/aids
The program cost of $425 includes:
• guided instruction in mindfulness
mediation practices
