closed-toed shoes – no flip flops or sandals will be
permitted. Please send a water bottle with your student.

Pre-Kindergarten Classes (minimum age 3)
These classes are designed to get the creative juices flowing
at a very early age. They promote self-expression through
exploration and discovery of the world around the child.
Creative Drama Classes (Kindergarten & 1st Grade)
These classes provide an introduction to theatre basics.
By using familiar topics and stories, students will learn to
recreate characters. Creative Drama is an improvisational,
process-centered form of drama. It encourages creativity, selfexpression, communication and confidence. This method
educates as well as entertains and engages the students.
Root Classes (2nd & 3rd Grade)
These classes focus on Creative Drama and Creative
Writing and promote social awareness, communication,
teamwork and creativity while teaching important theatrical
terminology and how to work with a script.
Foundation Classes (4th & 5th Grade)
These classes take a more in-depth approach to acting,
moving from ensemble to partner and solo work. Students can
expect further exploration of character development, acting
method, script analysis, memorization and audition prep.
Essential Classes (6th & 7th Grade)
These classes offer the addition of an introduction to
the business side of theatre including self-promotion,
auditioning, building a resume and selecting a headshot.
Students will work to develop their voice and gain
confidence in their movements while exploring various
acting and performance theories and popular techniques.
Young Adult Theatrical Academy (8th–12th Grade)
These classes provide extensive training in acting and
technical production. Experienced performers and educators
provide a conservatory-style foundation for college
bound actors, directors and designers.

Zoë Lathan is a musical theatre artist and choreographer,
and has been seen in several shows in Columbus ranging from
independent projects to professional/regional theatre. Some of
