CHRISTMAS CARDS AND POSTAGE STAMPS FOR GOOD CAUSES There are lots of ways of recycling used CHRISTMAS CARDS, one of which is by giving them to the Woodland Trust through one of their recycling bins in High Street shops and supermarkets. Closer to home, however, Caroline Yarnold in Puttenham collects them to be used again. She prepares them for sticking on to specially produced blank cards, which are then sold to raise funds for the English Church in Hamburg. If you would like to donate your cards for this cause, contact Jane Turner who will collect them. At the same time, if you’ve kept your used POSTAGE STAMPS from all that Christmas mail, please let Jane have them for the Phyllis Tuckwell Hospice.
