13. Next Sunday’s Sermon:
Is there no Balm in Gilead? | Jeremiah 8:18-22
Sermon Application Method:
God’s People have Forsaken the Lord | Jeremiah 2:1-19
Rev Clarence Lee
In Jeremiah 1, the prophet was called to preach a message of doom to Judah, as the
hearts of God’s people hadn’t really changed. In our passage today, Jeremiah
addresses this further by showing us reasons why the “marriage” between God and
His people broke apart, and offers us lessons to safeguard our own love relationship
with the Lord.

Reasons for the marriage breakup between God and His people, and How to
safeguard our “marriage” with Him:
