A Moment with the Pastor
DiscipleNow 2015 was awesome! I’ve heard report after report about how good the
small group leaders were in the homes and how good Dustin Scott, our Student Minister, was
in the large group time. I am so grateful to Dustin for suggesting we have the closing rally at
the 11:00 a.m. service so parents and the church family could experience DNow. The music of
the JJ Weeks Band and Dustin’s wrap up set the state for the commitment time. Among the
students there were 5 professions of faith, 20+ re-dedications, and two public commitments for
mission service. There were also two additional professions of faith by an adult and a child.
Thank you host home families and all other volunteers that made this a great revival weekend
with our students.
Please note the announcement on the front page about Wynette Cox’s retirement reception and love offering. We
appreciate her 27 years of service to the Autauga Baptist Association. As her home church, we need to show our love as
well.
