Joe worked in the broadcast industry for more than
45 years, retiring in 2010 as
general manager at Eagle
Communications. Sherri retired from Quest Diagnostics
in 2008.

George and Arliss Koogle,
Hays, celebrated their 70th
wedding anniversary Jan.

George served in the Marines from 1942 to 1946. The
couple lived in Great Bend
until January 1989, then they
moved to Hays. Their son
and daughter were both born
on the same day in February eight years apart. Their
daughter is deceased.
