130 Year Exhibition
Tools:
Squared Royals playing cards
Tools:
Queensland Rugby celebrated its 130th anniversary in 2013 and Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator
as part of the occasion, an exhibition was held at the Museum of
Brisbane. Artwork was done for significant pieces of Queensland Client:
Rugby’s history including information on the Premier Rugby Queensland Rugby
competition, 2011 Super Rugby Championship and British & Irish Year:
Lions tours. There was also a piece done detailing key events during 2013
its 130 year history. I created all of the artwork for this exhibition
and enjoyed the challenge of creating artwork for a public space.
After the exhibition finished, all of the artwork was then hung
throughout Ballymore Rugby House as a permanent reminder of
Queensland Rugby’s history.
At the beginning of 2011, I decided to challenge my designing Photoshop, Illustrator
abilities by creating a deck of cards. I designed all aspects of
the artwork, including the logos, icons and typography. After Client:
completion, I sold the playing cards with the proceeds going to the Personal
victims of the 2011 Queensland floods.

and assisting with construction, while Jacque Prior and Georgie

In 2013, I was tasked with creating a website that housed all of Dreamweaver
Queensland Rugby’s youTube content in one place for their fans.
Utilising HTML, CSS, JavaScript and the youTube API, I was able Client:
to create the website based on a purchased template. I created all Queensland Rugby Union
of the youTube functionality, including a search feature and the

Queensland Rugby Union determined that the 2015 St.George
Queensland Reds squad would be announced at the Reds Gala Ball
at 6:55pm (AEST) on Friday 29 August, 2014.
In alignment with this approach, QRU Communications created
a plan to roll-out the announcement across all platforms and to
mainstream media simultaneously, to ensure the greatest reach, cut
through and fan engagement - to most effectively launch the 2015
Reds season and membership campaign.
