Cardinal Seán requesting your support of the 2015 Catholic
Appeal.
If you have not already done so, please
prayerfully consider making an early pledge. Our parish
directly benefits from the 50 ministries supported by the
Appeal and your gift will help us reach our 2015 goal. You

extremely grateful. Thank you.
OURLADYOFLOURDES
Pope Francis has again declared The Feast of Our Lady of
Lourdes, February 11th, a World Day of Prayer for the
Sick. This is a good time to renew our prayers for the sick
and home-bound, especially those in our parish, and
perhaps remember them with a note or phone call. You
could "make someone's day"! Our Lady, Help of the Sick,
pray for us.

ST MARY OF THE ANNUNCIATION SCHOOL
IS ON FACEBOOK
Please follow us and like us as we spread the good
news of the many happenings here at St. Mary’s.
Check out postings of our Sixth Graders going back in
time along with some photos from Catholic Schools
Week events!
Due to the Blizzard of 2015, Catholic School
Week was extended into last week.
The
“Geometr-Eats"
exhibition
was
last
Thursday evening. A 5 month long project that
the 8th Grade tackled with creativity and
geometric expertise! Teacher Swap Day was
great fun. Can you imagine Mr. Flint teaching PreKB? Well,
he did! Postponed from January 30th to February 6th, the
PTO sponsored a Teacher Appreciation
Luncheon. We took over the Art Room and
turned it into a “bistro,” complete with linen
tablecloths, napkins and fresh flowers, along
with homemade chowder and desserts to open
and close the meal. Thank you so much to our
Luncheon Committee, including all its bakers.
MAKEITAFAMILYAFFAIR!
We need kids and families to bring the Gifts to the Altar at the
9:30 Family Mass. Please “take our fish” and
let an usher know you will bring the Gifts to
the Altar. When you go back to get the Gifts
please make sure to return our Fish!
This is a great idea for young people who
have recently received the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and
will receive Holy Eucharist or Confirmation this year, as they
can be more actively involved in the Celebration of the Mass.
COMEDYNIGHT&SILENTAUCTION
On Friday, March 20th at the Jackson
Suite in Malden, we will be hosting a
Comedy Night and Silent Auction. Please
stay tuned for more details. If you have
an item you would like to donate to the
Silent Auction or if you are interested in helping, please
contact Debi McInnis at ddal0995@gmail.com.
