Green & Green is an
intuitive , innovative

acres luscious greenery
Our vision and mission is to bring back the original country variety Vegetables, Fruits and Spinaches in a
conventional farming method with latest techniques which are free from pesticides and chemical fertilizers.
This project is supported by Department of Agriculture, Government of
Tamilnadu.
Infrastructure @ Green & Green
23 feet wide road across the farm for easy access to the field
Built a bridge across the canal connecting Bhagyalakshmi
Nagar and Green & Green as per PWD standards.
40 feet wide road is connecting the main road to Green &
Green.
Necessary earthen drains are made to drain the excess
water / surplus water during monsoon.
Flowers, Herbs and other ornamental trees are planted on
the road sides.
Eco-friendly Battery operated car, Bullock Cart, Tonga and
Tractor are used for site seeing and farm visiting.
An agricultural storage room and an office are located in the
site.
The entire property of 30 acres is being protected by ecofriendly solar fencing.
An earthen reservoir of 2.5 million liters capacity has been
constructed for water storing and serving purpose.
Farming @ Green & Green
We are practicing the traditional method of farming
which is been done by conventional methods using
modern techniques.
After prolonged research and observations along with
the agricultural Experts, we found that the soil is
suitable for the cultivation of green leafy vegetables,
vegetables and fruits.
We are developing an integrated farming system by
including Poultry farm, Cattle farm, and Fish pond
inside the site.
So that all the manure we use for farming is produced
within our site and this leads to integrated farming
i.e., waste produce from one is the feed to other.
Irrigation @ Green & Green
Bore wells – 8 Nos of 12” bore, at different locations
where the water table starts from 20 feet depth.
All the bore wells are drilled up to 250 feet depth and
are interlinked to a main ring system for effective
usage of water by control valves.
An earthen reservoir of 2.5 million liters capacity is
been constructed to maintain the water table and
also as a rain water harvesting.
The water from the bore wells are pumped into the
main ring system so that the entire farm land is been
well irrigated.
The main ring system is also linked with the drip
irrigation system done by NAGARJUNA IRRIGATION
SYSTEM., which serves water for the trees, plants and
vegetables and also the sprinkler system serves
water for the green leafy vegetables.
Farm Site Management
Fertilization of the soil is done conventionally as follows:
First, the soil is enriched by growing Thakkaipoondu, which
increases the NPK by 230% more Nitrogen rather than using
chemical fertilizers.
Then traditionally known organic manure such as Cattle Waste,
Goat Waste and Poultry Waste are mixed with the soil by
ploughing at appropriate stages.
To avoid weeding, we have mixed Erukanthalai, Nochchi, Neem
leaves with the soil by ploughing. This will minimize the weeding
and bad bacteria from the soil and will act as an antibacterial for
next 3 years.
To enrich the soil more, we are using Kumbi Sambal (husk ash )
which has enormous gypsum content naturally.

AND PESTICIDES”
We are preparing Vermi from the cow dung, plant waste and
other natural wastes. A bio fertilizer consisting Effective micro
organism is being used for farming which increases the yield by
30% .
Plastic and polythene free site Other than Pipe lines
All types of chemical fertilizers, plastics and non-decomposable
items are prohibited in the site.
Inter Crop
Green Leafy Vegetables – Arai keerai, Mulaikeerai, Palak, Sirukeerai,
Ponanganikeerai, Agathikeerai, Parupukeerai, Murungai keerai etc. yield starts from
the first month onwards. We have around 64 varieties of Spinaches and will be
exhibited in one acre of land.

Vegetables – Ladys finger, Brinjal, Beans, Cluster Beans, Tomato, Pumpkin, chilly,
Capsicum, etc. in which the yield starts from 3rd month onwards.
Medicinal Plants: Thulasi, Siriyanangai, thudhuvilai keerai, karpooravalli,
mudakkaththaan keerai, Vallarai etc. are planted and exhibited for visit.

Pesticides Management
We are using naturally prepared effective micro
organism, a unique product that acts as a catalyst as
well as pesticides for the plants as well as the soil.
To avoid external insects and other bacteria, we are
following a traditional method by growing Kaaramani,
Sun flower, Castor tree, Aagathikeerai and
Murungaikeerai across the site.
Ploughs are tipped with pungai tree to avoid weeding at
the farms.
Power & Office Management
Necessary power supply from EB has been availed for
the usage at office, labor sheds and bore wells.
Solar power is used at the site for operating solar pump
in bore wells, street lights and also fencing.
A properly designed container office of 400 Sq.ft is
installed with a conference room facility.
A storage room of 400 Sqft capacity to store the seeds,
natural fertilizers, produce, hand tools and EM solution,
etc.
We have employed two supervisors and ten employees
as field staffs to care of the entire farm.
We have also engaged agriculture experts for
monitoring, inspecting and reporting about each and
every plants in the farm site periodically.

We are growing three varieties of Fishes in the earthen
reservoir. The Fish waste will be used as feed to plants.
We have Country Cows which are producing milk and
also used as cart ride and the waste is used as fertilizer
to the plants.
Growing Country Chicken and its Waste is used as feed
to Fishes and its the hut will be built above fish pond.
Developing Goat farm which produces Country Varity
(Vellaadu) goats and it will be used as Meat and also its
waste will be used as Fertilizer to Plants.
Resort @ Green & Green
An extent of 90,000 Sq. ft area is allocated for the Resort –
PARAMBARIYA.
Meditation Hall, Waterfalls swimming pool , Ayurvedic Spa and
multi-cuisine restaurant are available at site.
Traditionally type of 8 Wooden homes will be built for guest
accommodation.
The activities available are fishing, bullock cart riding, cycling
and Camp fire.
Traditional games such as Gilli, Goli, Uri Adithal, Pallanguzhi,
Pallanguzhi, Bambaram etc.
Families could stay during weekends / holidays and enjoy
Organic food – Kambu, Chollam, Kel Veragu..
