Directions to Lamplugh Village Hall
From the Cockermouth roundabout on
the A66 follow the A 5086, signed to
Cleator Moor and Egremont, for
approximately 10 miles. Lamplugh
Village Hall is on your R just after the
Lamplugh Tip Pub (sadly now closed).
There is parking beside the hall, and
on the opposite side of the road on
muddy verges.
Take care when crossing this road.
Traffic can be moving fast and visibility
is poor.

A weekend course for Complete
Beginners and those who wonder if
Beekeeping is for them.
At: Lamplugh Village Hall and
W&DBK Teaching Apiary.
On: Saturday 18th and Sunday19thMarch 2015.
Cost: £30.00 (£25.00 for members
of W&DBK)
Light lunch (soup and a roll), tea and
coffee provided.
Day 1 : The Basic Theory of beekeeping and answering questions
about the equipment and facilities
you will need to start keeping your
own bees.
Day 2 : Practical Session held at
the teaching Apiary to give an introduction to handling bees.
Suits and protective gloves will be
provided. Participants will need to
bring their own Wellington boots for
day 2.
