Corporate Social Responsibility Manulife Japan supports Charity Run for the 7th Consecutive year The 2014 Manulife Waku Waku Charity Run, Road Relay and Half Marathon sponsored by Manulife Japan and organized by Tokyo Metropolitan Television and Ajinomoto Stadium was held on April 27 in Tokyo. 12,000 people joined the event, including the run participants and supporters. The event raised more than 2.5 million yen in donations for the Central Community Chest Japan. The donations will be used to support the creation of playrooms for children at hospitals. A total of 143 volunteers from Manulife Japan, including employees, their family members and friends, supported the event, assisting with distributing water to runners and other participant support activities.
