Methylcellulose & Xanthan Mixing Instructions----- m Mixing Your Gunge: 1. You'll need 8-10 litres of luke warm water in a standard sized bucket, begin the hand mixer and gradually sprinkle the powder into the moving water. This will limit the clumping of the powder. .co 1x bag makes 10 litres of gunge. If mixing your gunge in larger quantities, mix the desired powder quantity with the relevant amounts of water e.g. 2x bags = 20 litres water, 3x bags = 30 litres water and so on... 2. Once all the powder has been sprinkled into the water, keep mixing the gunge with the hand mixer for 5-10 minutes to help circulate the powder. The water will begin to thicken & transform into a slime. Ensure you get to the very bottom of the container otherwise the powder will congregate & not mix correctly. lie s 3. Leave the bucket to settle and cool for 10 minutes. Then check the gunge by giving it another stir. You will notice the gunge should have thickened significantly. If the gunge is not thick enough, stir for a while longer and leave for a further 10 minutes. If too thick, simply add more warm water and stir briskly to thin down the gunge. pp 4. If you have any additions that you wish to add to the gunge, such as Vivid Enhancement Colouring (VEC), glitter or other compatible accessories, stir these in to the container. We recommend using only MessySupplies approved accessories. __________________________________________________________________________________________ Clean Up Advice: Hair & Skin: Gunge will naturally dilute in water, so rinse off hair and skin under the shower and allow the gunge to disperse down the plug or drain. If the gunge is particularly thick, it will take longer to remove. The use of a sponge or mesh cloth will dramatically speed up clean off. sy Su Clothing: It is recommended that clothes are cleaned shortly after the gunge session taking place. Rinse off the items of clothing before placing them into a washing machine. Showering whilst wearing messy clothes can help remove all the gunge and reduce water usage. Surfaces & Furnishings: Always protect soft furnishings, floors & carpets when using gunge. If the gunge does get in contact with surfaces or furnishings rinse immediately with warm soapy water and /or use any household brand of stain remover. Gunge should only cause temporary staining.
