Human Capital Specialist We are seeking a motivated, hardworking, team orientated individual to be accountable for the development, management and execution of HR services across the HR value chain for Deltamune. This role is responsible for: Being a business player that contributes to the overall success of the business; HR Business Partner that provides strategic and functional expertise and direction and integrated people solutions; Providing consultative and advisory services that enables business performance The incumbent must be an experienced Human Resources (HR) professional, providing strategic vision, leadership, and management of this function including oversee Human Resources and its staff. Areas of responsibility shall include but not be limited to; Workforce Diversity, Regulatory Challenges, Job Design, Job Analysis, Recruitment & Selection, Performance Management, Training & Development, Compensation & Benefits, Personnel & Payroll, HR Information Systems, Health & Safety, Labour Relations and Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment. Key Accountabilities 1. Lead the Setting and Measurement of the Company's Human Capital Strategy Key Performance Areas Understands the needs of the business, analyses existing business performance and co-develops appropriate plans for business improvement Benchmark, design, develop and implement HR strategy to support, improve and strengthen the Human Resources department and service to its employees Set the annual strategic plan in consultation with the company's exco, leadership and business and service units, for approval by the board; Set the annual budget for the Human Capital Service Unit; Establishes HR departmental goals to ensure that all subordinates have clear, current and measurable goals Report on the achievement of the plan at relevant levels, including to the board and human capital committee; Ensure the strategy explores best practice standards to enable the company to deliver on its strategy plan through having an effective team Key Measurements Development of and obtaining approval of HR Strategy Implementation of agreed milestones according to the HR Strategy Meeting specific strategic goals; compile budget which is complete and aligned with company’s strategic plan and budget Team members level of engagement 2. Enabling The Business Through Functional Expertise And Direction Key Performance Areas Translate minimum standards and external law into policy / procedures in a format acceptable for EXCO Continuously highlights and addresses business people priorities and challenges and recommends appropriate actions and measures progress Participates in key business decision making (strategic business player at leadership team) Accountable for the development and implementation of all HR functional processes, interventions and projects, across the HR value chain, and in an effective and efficient manner Key Measurements Developing action plan of development and review of policies and procedures Drafting and obtaining approval and implementation of policies and procedures Implement latest amendments to legislation and best practice in Deltamune 3. Effectively support the company's operations by providing the required Human Capital and Talent Management Key Performance Areas Develops and implements the Talent Management Plan within Deltamune In conjunction with business and service units, builds an energised organisation Facilitates recruitment of employees in accordance with Deltamune values and in alignment with the plan Facilitate the sourcing of coaching for team members on professional knowledge and job-related skills per the development plan Assist the business in the development of KPA's and Key Measurements performance Key Measurements Development and implementation of the Talent Management Plant Development of a performance management system; Training of employees and creating awareness of the performance management system to ensure consistency. Performance reviews up to date; KPI's and development plans in place. 4. Delivering on Improved Customer and Relationship Results Key Performance Areas Deepen the long-term relationship with employees and their loyalty to Deltamune Enables the education, coaching and support of values based partnerships of business and support unit management Contributes to the development of values based partnerships between all stakeholders Key Measurements Customer survey feedback Agreed and monitored SLA's in place with stakeholders External providers delivering to agreed standards on cost effective basis Person Specification and Selection Criteria Essential Knowledge / Experience: Ten years’ experience in human resource management; Team leadership; Direct experience in project management and business plans; Ability to read, analyse and interpret financial, human resources and legal documents; Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from clients, regulatory agencies, or business community; and Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
