Program Descriptions:
Got an eye for leadership? JOIN KEYSTONE, TEEN
COUNCIL OR TORCH. Have a program or activity you would like to see at
the Youth Center? Then come to any of these meetings and have your voice
heard! KEYSTONE meets every Wed at 430p for ages 14 to 18, TEEN
COUNCIL meets at 5p for ages 13 to 18 on last Wed of month, and TORCH
meets every Tue at 330p for ages 9 to 13. We are waiting to hear from you!
4-H Fantastic Foods! From careers to recipe development, learn how to
cook with Ms. Cynthia.
Club Tech: BGCA’s digital literacy program, aims to make technology
accessible, intriguing and fun!
3 Apr: Rap Battle & Poetry Slam! Come by and share your skills in a rhythmic
manner! Please keep it PG and follow YP standard guidelines. Starts at 4p.
4 Apr: Month of the Military Child Easter Celebration Join us for an Easter
Egg hunt at the Youth ball fields at 10a, followed by our MoMC festival at YP! Fun, free
food, bouncy castles, entertainment and much, much more!
10 Apr: Teen Greek Night! Grab your appropriate toga and come hang out with
Keystone until 11p! There will be a contest for: Most Authentic, Best
Accessories,
& Most Likely to Become a Roman Goddess or Greek God. Dinner is at 8p. Free for
YP members, $2 nonmembers.
14 Apr: 6 Clicks or Life @Heritage Hall 5p—7p. Join us for dinner and a learning
session on protecting yourself against internet predatory behavior.
17 Apr: Family Games Night! Come play games with your youth! Whether it’s
Textiles!: Learn about textiles; from cloth to clothing come create unique
designs!
The News Knows what’s going on in the community! Write your articles,
photograph current events, do news set-ups, edit and/or publish the News
Youth Can USE!!!
SMART Girls Join us in learning about things specifically geared to your
gender! Hygiene, relationships, making good decisions, etiquette, and more!
Basketball, xBox, trivia or even chess… YP has the game for you! Starts at 4p.
24 Apr: TEEN LOCK IN! Be sure sign up by the 17th! $10 members/$12 non.
