Join us for the Fireside premiere of this rocking, rollicking musical comedy featuring the songs of the King of rock and roll Elvis Presley. No tight pants, no kissing and no loud music. Those are the rules in one small Midwestern 1950's town. But then a stranger comes to town - a rebellious, guitar-playing, hip swiveling roustabout (who bears a striking resemblance to the King himself). All at once everything changes - young love blooms, unspoken dreams begin to come true, and the once quiet little town is turned upside down in this hilarious, tuneful, high-stepping, award-winning Broadway romp featuring laughs, romance, thrilling dances, and a host of your favorite Presley classics such as "Jailhouse Rock," "Hound Dog," "Heartbreak Hotel," "Blue Suede Shoes," "Don’t Be Cruel," "Burning Love" and many, many more! A time when we celebrate God’s gift to us, the redemption for all mankind through His son, our Lord, Jesus Christ. Something that can surely melt the ice in our hearts. Still, there is much to do and much still upcoming in our council. We had a very successful Sweetheart dinner and dance. A great time was had by all. Still ahead for this month is a First degree on the 10th if you know anyone who would like to join our Council. We also have 2nd and 3rd degree on the 14th. Also on the 14th is the St Pats dinner and comedian. Don’t miss out, has been a great time in years past. Also on the 24th is Public Service night, a way to honor those who diligently serve our communities in Fond du lac County in so many capacities. Come out and show your support. On the 29th is 5th Sunday at Holy Family, Deacon Dale to be guest speaker at breakfast. Still one of my favorite quotes from Jerry Zipperer, “You go to church, and you gotta eat…why not do both at the same time?” Also, if you have “Liked” Knights of Columbus #664 on Facebook, thank you. If you haven’t, but can, please consider. This is another developing tool we have to effectively communicate within and abroad. If you have not been receiving regular email transmissions from Grandknight@kchallfdl.com please email me your contact information. Not typical junk mail, but another way to communicate. With busy schedules it is difficult for many members to attend our regular meetings. This helps keep you connected to your council. We still are in need of men to step up and lead/organize/support various committees and programs. Please contact me so we can discuss ways that you can support your council or any ideas that you would have. Thank you and God bless you. Respectfully, Dave Reilly, Grand Knight “NOTICE TO ALL GOLFERS” A meeting of the Knights of Columbus Golf League will be held on Tuesday, March 17th.
