Invite You to Join Us at an all
Inclusive Event
April 18, 2015
7:30 A.M. until tasks are completed
Be, Go, Do
You cannot do everything, but you can do
something. One community, one person, one choice
could be the catalyst needed to change the world.
On April 18 we will focus on serving others and
learning what it means to be, go, and do. Come and
be counted, because even though there is power in
numbers, one person making one simple choice
could make all the difference. See posters in
Gathering Area for more details on jobs available.
Questions may be directed to Jamie Snyder,
402-563-3010 or rsnyder4@neb.rr.com.
Exciting news from Epworth Village! Beginning
about May 1st they will be accepting girls. Epworth

Methodist Women will be asking the congregation
for help in supporting Epworth. We will be offering
the congregation Easter eggs with donation
requests inside on Palm Sunday weekend. Please
bring your donation back to the Chapel Parlor by
Easter. Thank you very much for your support of
this vital part of our mission to help children!

Preschool – 4th Grade At G-Force VBS, kids
explore how to put their faith into action. In this
mission-focused VBS, kids experience God’s
unstoppable love and discover how to fuel up and move
in and through life with God. Children will come alive
with movement and images of all sorts of kid-friendly
transportation, such as skateboards, running shoes,
roller blades, and more! Watch the G-Force meter climb
illustrating how God is at work around the world and
how God’s people are on the move. Each session’s action
word sparks a way to show God’s unstoppable love:

This year we have a special day planned
for our graduates. This is an exciting
time for you! We also know that it is a challenging
time as you make decisions for the future, wrap up

is praying for you during this time and looks forward
to celebrating your graduation with you! On Sunday,
May 3rd, First UMC will provide brunch at 9:45 for the
seniors along with their families. We will then
proceed to the sanctuary for the 10:30 service to
honor you and present you with a gift. As soon as
possible, please provide the church office with 3
pictures; a baby picture, a senior picture, and a fun
picture at any age. These will be used to create a
senior video. Pictures will be scanned and returned to
you. Call the church office at 402-564-8463 for more
information.

The youth wish to
thank
the
United
Methodist Men for their
help in sponsoring us in
the Valentine Dinner
Show. A huge thank you also goes out
to all the parents who made sure we got
to practice and helped us practice as
needed. We are so thankful to have
such a loving church family that would
give up their Sunday evening to come
out and be with us. We had so much
fun serving your meal and coming up
with the entertainment and presenting a
show for all those in attendance.
We are so lucky to be a part of such a
caring and generous church. We thank
you from the bottom of ALL of our
hearts.

THANK YOU! I wish to thank the
church for all the prayers and
prayer chains that were offered
for me, due to my recent
emergency surgery and recovery.
My family also, had me on prayer
chains throughout the entire
United States. God has given me a
miraculous
and
speedy
recovery. Thank you to Pastor
Aaron, for the visits. To the caring
ladies, thank you for the delicious
food brought to our home.
