Look, his ego is inflated; he is

This Week’s SOAP from Pastor Jim
Scripture: Zechariah 13:1
“On that day a fountain will be opened for the house of David and for the residents of
Jerusalem, to wash away sin and impurity.”
Observation: What a picture! Sins washed away ... not just covered up or forgotten. Washed
away is crazy! The lines from the old hymn come to mind:
There is a fountain filled with blood,
Drawn from Immanuel’s veins,
And sinners plunged beneath that flood
Lose all their guilty stains.
Jesus is the way of cleansing ... He is the promised fountain of Zechariah 13:1. All sin ... All
impurity ... He has done His work for us!
Application: Every day we must live in light of the truth. Live. Make decisions and walk with
God as a man with impurities removed and sins forgiven. Continually through each day apply
I John 1:9 'If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive our sins and to cleanse us
from all unrighteousness.’ Block out time every day to be sure confession is complete.
Prayer: Thank you Lord for the finished work of Christ. He is the mighty forgiver! It is in His
blood we are cleansed. Help me to live daily in aggressive opposition to sin because it cost
Jesus His life. In particular, bring my thought life under His complete control (II Cor. 10:3-5).
Amen.

THIS IS the STORY, THIS IS the SONG
“You Are For Me”
By Kari Jobe
“The song came straight from my journal. I wrote this song from a season of brokenness
and from a season where I was having to say that to myself, “God I know that you are for
me. If you are for me, who can be against me? You never leave me, you never forsake
me.” It really is just one of those truths that I wanted on my heart, a truth that I had to
learn and had to speak over myself constantly to get me through that season. It’s
significant that we can journal. It’s significant that we can get alone with God and not just
pray but maybe even just write it all out so that we have a record of what God is doing.
We can look back and see the seasons that he has taken us through. “ – Kari Jobe
TOP April Music Releases
As one of Christian music's breakthrough artists, Lauren Daigle has received an
overwhelming response to her hit single "How Can It Be.” She is set to release her first
full-length album, How Can It Be, on 4/14/15. With her strong vocals and compelling
lyrics, this new album invites listeners to draw closer to their Creator.
To capture the most authentic sound and genuine emotion possible, Chris August and
producer Ed Cash opted to track this studio album live--pretty much the opposite of most
music that's recorded these days. The resulting songs are soulful and honest, not to
mention, a lot of fun to record.
If you have talent and skills
in music and singing, we
may have just the place for
you to serve with us on the
Worship Team. We are
contemporary in style and
utilize drums, bass, guitars
and keyboards on a weekly
basis.
We also feature a praise
choir and/or small ensemble
monthly as a part of our
main worship services. We
include percussion,
saxophone, strings and
other instruments whenever
we can to enhance our time
of worship.
Directions Home by Point of Grace is a 10-song disc that features some of their
favorite cover songs. “Our goal was to make the music we love in a style we are
confident we can deliver," asserts Denise Jones. "The common denominator here is that
life is good. These are fun, happy songs. This is a happy record."
Real Love is the full-length debut release for Jesus Culture Music artist, Derek Johnson.
Featuring 12 original tracks, Derek utilizes his own journey into the redemptive love of
Jesus Christ, as well as, his passion for message-driven songwriting, to share his hope in
the God of real, authentic love.

MOPS is Coming to FBCRPB
What is the call God has on our lives as women, wives, mothers, daughters and
friends?
Event: Women's Summit Conference
Speaker: Rosa Madrigal
Date and Time: Saturday, April 18th from 9:00 AM - Noon
MOPS stands for Mothers of Preschoolers and
reaches out to moms with children from infancy
through kindergarten. MOPS groups seek to
build communities of women that meet together
to laugh, cry and embrace the journey of
motherhood. MOPS believes that better moms
make a better world!
Let's explore scripture together, emphasizing on Proverbs
31. This a time of learning, uniting, and searching God's
Will for our lives as women. We will learn to uncloak the
conventions of society, to then clothe ourselves in His
righteousness.
