Workshop on Sediment fluxes in Irish Rivers
A SILTFLUX project (EPA Research) WORKSHOP
Tuesday 19th May 2015
UCD, Suite 003 Planning Building, Belfield, Dublin 4
Following on from the 1st SILTFLUX Workshop, the purpose of the 2nd workshop is
to present SILTFLUX research result to date, in relation to the understanding and
quantification of sediment fluxes in our monitored rivers. It is intended as a forum
to present the initial SILTFLUX project research results and to invite contributions
from interested parties in relation to performance of instrumentation, the
calculation of sediment fluxes and the biological impact of sediment. It includes a
Keynote address from Dr. Iwan Jones of Queen Mary College, University of London.
Participation is free but places are limited and should be reserved in advance by emailing michael.bruen@ucd.ie
