Words from Counselor Stephanie
IMPORTANT FOR SENIORS: If you have completed
a class through EHS, SLCC, or another school for credit
towards your graduation, these transfer credits were
due on May19th. If these transcripts were not
received, you will be at risk for not graduating. If you
are missing credits, this is URGENT and needs to be
taken care of immediately!!!!!!
It's not too late to apply to college. Dixie State
University, Snow College, Utah Valley University,
Southern Utah University, Weber State University, and
Salt Lake Community College are still accepting
applications! Don't delay!
Scholarship opportunity. I wanted to let you know
about the Jump$tart Financial Literacy Scholarship
opportunity for all seniors, regardless of citizenship. For
more information go to http://www.utahjumpstart.org/
Requests for transcripts need to be made by filling out
our Transcript Order form. These forms can be picked
up in the main office. Once the form is complete, return
the transcript request to the office for
processing. Transcripts requests need to be made seven
days prior to the transcript deadline.
Make-up registration. If students missed the 2015-2016
class request assemblies on Thursday, April 23rd, there
will be a make-up registration day on Wednesday, June
3 from 2-3pm. Students should review their class choices
with their success coach before attending this
meeting. This is for current students only who have not
requested classes for the 2015-2016 school year.
Check out this College Guide
(http://tinyurl.com/p9g6a84). Look through it for ideas
about how to get ready for next year. Visit the Step Up
website (http://www.stepuputah.com/stay-ontrack/grade-checklists/) for a grade by grade checklist.
Summer school. AISU will support a six-‐week summer school session, beginning June 8th and ending July 17th. Students may attend remotely or at school, although some classes require at least some attendance on-‐site. Teachers will be available at school during summer school from 8:30am-‐12:30pm, except July 3rd. If on-‐site classes are required, they will be held during this morning time frame. The fee for each course is $75, payable in advance. However, students getting ahead will get a 100% refund of the fee if they complete the course during summer school. Also, there is no fee for summer school for students finishing courses they took in 3rd trimester. One registration form is required for each class. Registration forms will be available in the office beginning Friday, April 24th. The last day to register for summer school is May 19th. If a student registers for summer school for credit completion and ends up not needing summer school, the registration fee will be returned. Weekly Newsletter

Parent Dashboard
(S ee sc reen shots ab ove)
In our ongoing quest to create a single portal for our many
online tools, we've created a dashboard that provides a quick
view of each student's online course progress, plus quick links
to most-used links. You can view your student's current
progress, scores in online assignments, daily goals, and Own
it! profile. There's also a quick link to email his or her success
coach, and a section of tips curated for AISU parents. Use the
Feedback button to let us know what you think, and what
features you'd like to see in future releases.
