HUB Parking Technology is the first company in the parking industry in Canada to be
certified by Moneris for its Contact EMV Solutions
HUB Parking Technology is the first and only company in the parking industry in Canada to
achieve the certification process of Moneris EMV Solutions using VeriFone Ux300 Terminals
and MSC Direct connect solution, thus providing its clients a secure and complete end-toend payment solution.
Moneris Solutions is Canada’s largest processor and acquirer of debit and credit card
payments. The solution is based on EMV Level 1, and Level 2 and supports EMV card brands
Interac, VISA , Master Cards and American Express. The solution is fully certified and ready
to deploy under Moneris Configuration code PRE-839EMV.
HUB Parking Technology has always been focused on innovation and technology. In 2012, it
released the first generation of Chip & PIN to the Canadian Market. HUB was the first
parking access and control company to deploy and put into operation over 100 Chip & PIN
terminals across Canada.
Encryption technology is also at the core of the certified CHIP & PIN solution offered by HUB
Parking Technology: the system immediately encrypts card data on the card reader and
transmits it to the bank via HUB’s PCI-DSS compliant Gateway.
The official certification process is complex and it verifies that operations are in accordance
with the full PCI DSS criteria for P2PE applications, including very specific technical
requirements and a review of the solution specifications and internal processes regarding the
secure handling of card readers and software.

EMV transactions, while providing advanced security features.
