On the other hand an ultracapacitor,
(sometimes called a super-capacitor) is an
electrical component capable of holding
many times more electrical charge quantity
t h a n a s t a n d a r d c a p a c i t o r. T h i s
characteristic makes ultra capacitor useful in
devices that require relatively lesser current
and low voltage. In transient situations, an
ultracapacitor can take the place of a
rechargeable low-voltage electrochemical
battery. Other advantages it offers is very
less charging time and almost infinite
charging-discharging cycles.
