OVERALL PURPOSE
Working in a diverse team which is committed to serve the world’s most
vulnerable with practical and compassionate care. The enumerator team will
register people in several IDP camps across Akre and Shikhan district.
PROJECT OVERVIEW
DESCRIPTION
Medair is responding to the massive internal displacements of Kurdish
Communities into the Kurdistan Region of Iraq. Together with the government of
Duhok Governorate Medair is starting a project to register all IDP’s (internally
displaced persons) in the 16 IDP camps managed by the Duhok Government.
Medair will introduce a programme called LMMS, an innovative mobile registration
and distribution tool which uses an ID-card and database for beneficiary
registration and tracking the delivery of aid. This registration tool will greatly
improve the efficiency with which core relief items will be distributed and recorded,
and it will enhance coordination.
The Akre project team will have a pool of at least 15 trained data enumerators.
Depending on the size of the camp in which the team is deployed approximately
10 data enumerators will work as a team in the camp with tablets. The registration
process will include the identity check, and filing the data in the application.

WORK CONDITIONS
This position is based in Nineva Governate, Akre and Shikhan district, in the Kurdish
Region of Iraq and will be 100% field based within Bardarash, Mamilian and Essian
Camps.
Candidates are responsible for their own lunch. Daily transportation from 1 central
location in Akre city to the different camps will be provided by Medair. Direct travel on
your own expenses to the camps by own means is also possible.
Working days will exceed standard working hours, probably 08.30-17.00.
An obligatory day of training (incl. decisive final test) will be part of the selection and
preparation procedure (unpaid).
SALARY
Casual labour contract, 30,000 IQD/day
