Welcome to Bexhill Festival of Music 2015 We are now in our eighth year, and as always, it has been our aim to put together another varied programme of events for our community, with the emphasis on our own local talent. The Magic of the Musicals, starring West End & Broadway legend Ruthie Henshall. Kenneth Roberts Bexhill’s own Last Night of the Proms featuring Sussex Concert Orchestra conducted by Kenneth Roberts with professional soloists. This is the Festival’s main Charity Fundraiser, please support it if you can. Performing Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No.5, ‘Emperor’, will be the winner of the 2015 Hastings International Piano Competition. This one-day workshop will feature the songs loved by generations of fans who enjoy Bacharach’s terrific twisting melodies and tantalising rhythmic phrasing.
