Weareconcernedwithmanydifferentareasaffectingthewellbeingofthepeoplewholiveandwork here. Inpastyearswehavefundedgrantssupportingtheartsandhumanities,education,socialservices, healthandtheenvironment.Wesupportcharitableorganizationsthatincludeabroadrangeof communityneedsinordertohelpbuildastrongerandhealthierBrownCounty.In2015theBCCF BoardofTrusteesidentifiedthreecommunityinitiativestowardwhichtheywillfocus organizationalgrantingandwherewefeelwecanhavethemostimpact;childhoodeducation, environmentandhealthandwellness. 1. Grantsshallbemadeforspecificrequeststhataddressbroadareasofinterest,suchas: healthandhumanservices,education,artsandhumanities,environment,community development.PreferencewillbegiventograntrequeststhatsupportBCCFBoardof Trustees’identifiedcommunityinitiatives. 2. ThegrantsprogramshallfocusonthechangingneedsoftheBrownCountycommunity. 3. Ingrantmaking,priorityshallgenerallybegiventoprojects/programsthataddressesan identifiedneedandaremeasureableratherthanongoingoperatingsupport. 4. Grantmakingshallfocusonprojects/programsthatprovidethegreatestbenefittoBrown Countycitizensperdollargranted. 5. Grantmakingshallencourageprojectsorprogramsthataredevelopedincollaboration withvariousorganizationsandgroups,reduceduplicationofservices,andmaximize resources. 6. Thegrantmakingprocessshallrequiregrantrecipientstoachievespecifiedobjectivesas delineatedintheirgrantsapplication.. 7.
