2015-2016 / SUPERVISOR POSITION POSTING INSTRUCTIONS
(For Returning StAP Supervisor Applicants)
Please print a copy of these application instructions
1. Sign in to BishopLink (https://www.myinterfase.com/owu/employer/)
a. If you’ve previously used StAP, your password will remain the same as last year.
NOTE: If you have forgotten your password you will be able to select “forgot
password” on the login page. A new password will be sent to your email (please allow
a few hours for email notification or you may call the StAP office for assistance).
Now, you can renew your past proposal (step 2), submit a new position (step 3), or both (do both
steps).
2. Update an existing StAP position (renew your past proposal) by doing the following:
a. Select ‘My Jobs’ at the top of your screen, select ‘ Job List.’
b. Either click on ‘Job ID’ or ‘Job Title’ to select the position you want to renew.
c. Select ‘Copy Job’ in the left hand column titled ‘Page Functions’ in order to allow you to
edit the position. (You will now be able to click ‘Edit’ in the top right corner for each
portion of the position to update the information).
d. Ensure that under ‘Number of Hours per Semester/Year’ you enter 6 F&S to indicate
the position is 6 hours a week for two semesters.
e. Under ‘Posting Information’ Tab, change your ‘Post Date’ to March 16th, 2015 and
‘Expiration Date’ to April 6th, 2015.
f. Click on ‘Save’ to renew your position.
Now your proposal has been renewed and submitted. You will receive a confirmation email
later.
NOTE: Under Profile View tab, you can edit your Job Description/ Qualifications &
Skills/ Addition Information to make your position more competitive this year.
3. Submit a new StAP position proposal by doing the following:
a. Select ‘My Jobs’ at the top of your screen, select ‘New Job’
b. Fill in details of your new StAP position proposal by referring to the StAP Supervisor
Guidelines.
PLEASE NOTE:
i. Under ‘Number of Hours per Semester/Year’ please enter 6 F&S to indicate the
position is 6 hours a week for both Fall & Spring semester.
ii. In ‘Position Type’ under the ‘Posting Information’ tab, please scroll down and
select ‘StAP.’
iii. Please select ‘3/16/15’ under ‘Post Date’ and ‘4/6/15’ under ‘Expiration Date.’
c. Once you’ve completed the job description and qualifications, please click on ‘Save’ to
save / submit the proposal.
NOTE: The proposal will not be posted instantly; it must be approved by the StAP Board
at a later date; and you will receive a confirmation email regarding this.
4. You can review your posted StAP position(s) by doing the following:
a. Select ‘My Jobs’ at the top of your screen, select ‘Job List’
*UPON APPROVAL OF YOUR POSITION, YOU MAY PROCEED WITH THE FOLLOWING STEPS:
5. Beginning March 16th 2015, you may begin to receive applications from current students.
NOTE: Students must submit the following documents in order to apply for a StAP position:
i. Resume
ii. StAP Application

Select ‘My Jobs’ at the top of your screen, select ‘Job List.’
Click on ‘R’ under ‘Activity’ for the job you would like to review applications for.
Click on ‘View’ under ‘Action’ to open application you would like to review.
You will need to send a message to the student to acknowledge receipt of his or her
application materials and to schedule an interview. To do so, please click on ‘Referral
Message’ tab and enter your message, then submit by clicking ‘Save.’
NOTE: You must extend an interview offer to EVERY student that applies for your
position.
e. To review the documents attached to the application, click on ‘View Documents’ under
‘Page Functions’ on the left of the page.
NOTE: There will be TWO tabs (Resume & StAP application) on the top left of the
Document Reader.
f. After the deadline has passed for student applications both the supervisors and
students will be asked to rank positions (please keep track of your rankings until that
time).
