COLLEGE OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION RECRUITING COORDINATOR The College of Business Administration at Kansas State University is seeking to fill a full-time position of Recruiting Coordinator. The recruiting coordinator will be responsible for implementation of an effective student recruitment program and act as an academic advisor to select number of undergraduate students majoring in business. This position reports to the Associate Dean in the College of Business Administration. Responsibilities: • Assist in developing and implementing effective student recruitment strategy. • Represent the College at both on and off-campus recruiting events in a professional manner, with timely follow-up activities. • Coordinate recruiting activities with the University’s Office of Admissions. • Conduct prospective student visits on daily basis year round. • Maintain relationships with high school educators and counselors to benefit the recruitment process. • Coordinate recruitment practices with the Assistant Dean for Diversity to assure best practices are used in recruiting students from a broad range of diverse backgrounds. • Select, schedule and coordinate Student Ambassadors for recruitment activities. • Assist with freshman and transfer student orientation and enrollment. • Complete other projects as assigned. Qualifications: 1. Required: a. Bachelor’s degree b. Proven ability to develop interpersonal relationships with customers/clients c. Evidence of working with diverse populations d. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously e. Demonstrated ability to complete projects independently and in a timely manner f. Excellent written and oral communication skills g. Working knowledge of Office software, esp. mail merge, excel h. Available to work evenings and some weekends (valid driver’s license required) 2. Preferred a. Master’s degree in Business or College Student Personnel b. Ability to create and manage databases c. Success managing college student recruitment processes Salary and Benefits: This is an unclassified non-exempt position, with a salary of $40,000 plus benefits and is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
