How many hours per week will I be required to spend on my online course? This is a very important question and one that you need to consider before enrolling in any online course. If you are taking a fifteen-week, 3-credit course online, you should expect to spend about the same amount of time that you would spend if you were taking the course in the traditional, in-person classroom mode. When taking a seven-week, accelerated 3-credit course online, you should expect to spend between 20-26 hours per week on that course. Of those hours, about 7 hours each week will be spent within Blackboard, and the remainder will be spent completing readings and assignments.
